Arepa Lady initially started as a trendy food cart in Roosevelt ave. Due to her reputation for making delicious Arepas, they had no other choice but to open this full-blown Colombian restaurant.
Their Arepa con Quesos with extra crispy chicharrons, (fried pork belly chunks.)are delicious. The restaurant also serves the arepa de choclo, a sweeter, larger arepa that is folded over and topped with grated cheese.
The patacones, (fried plantains) are also very tasty and are available with several different toppings.
